Artificial intelligence startup Manus is set to double its valuation to $4 billion in a new round of financing. According to people familiar with the matter, Manus’s planned US$500 million financing round is about to be completed, which will make this pioneer in the field of AI robots the most valuable startup in China in this field.

People familiar with the matter said that negotiations are still ongoing and the terms of the transaction may still change.
The identities of the new investors are unclear, but existing investors in Manus include Tencent Holdings, Sequoia China and Zhen Fund.
