Recently, a group of parents of Hanfeng No. 2 Primary School in Kaizhou District, Chongqing encountered a scam by someone pretending to be a teacher. After the parents scanned the QR code to pay, they found that the funds flowed to MiHoYo related entities. The local police have received a report from the parents.

The notice also set up inducement conditions, claiming that the first 20 students who completed the payment could get a moral card, and also attached an Alipay payment code marked as "Hanfeng No. 2 Primary School payment account number" to urge parents to complete the payment as soon as possible.

It is understood that scammers sneaked into the QQ groups of different classes, pretending to be "Class 2 Chinese Teacher Peng" and "Class 7 Mathematics Teacher Gong" to issue payment notices.

After some parents scanned the QR code to pay, they discovered that the payee of the transfer was "Shanghai Mihayou Yingtie Technology Co., Ltd." and was not the school's official account.

Later, the real teacher in the group appeared to refute the rumors, and the parents realized that they had been deceived. The online report of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau’s receipt of the report shows that two classes, Class 2 and Class 7, were involved. The receipt was signed on August 30, 2026, and the total amount involved in the case is still being further verified.

The media contacted the staff of Hanfeng No. 2 Primary School. A teacher from the school office said that the school has long banned direct payment through QQ and WeChat groups. After-school extension fees, living expenses, etc. are all paid through official bank channels. There are no private charges by teachers; class fees and materials fees are no longer collected by the school.

It is understood that the case is under the jurisdiction of Wenfeng Police Station in Kaizhou District. Police station staff confirmed that the case was true. Many parents went to the police station to report the incident on the night of the incident. As for how to recover the money, the staff said: "It should be through MiHoYo, which is equivalent to recharging the game and getting a refund."

On the evening of September 2nd, Hanfeng No. 2 Primary School issued a statement: On August 30th, criminals sneaked into the QQ group of first-grade parents of our school to commit fraud: five parents were defrauded, involving an amount of 3,240 yuan. The school has reported the case to the public security organs as soon as possible.
