Tongde and GALAXY deny rumors of factory closure and confirm that production and business are operating normally

Abstract:

Tongde and GALAX officially denied the rumors that "GALAXY graphics card production will be closed", confirming that no manufacturing facilities have been shut down, and production and business are still running normally. Related products continue to be supplied to local and international markets, and no changes have been announced in customer support.

The two companies also confirmed that Palit and GALAX are in the same group and share production facilities. This clarification is in response to news that appeared the day before: industry sources were quoted as saying that insufficient NVIDIA GPU supply prompted Palit to close the GALAXY factory, and speculated that GALAXY, the European brand KFA2 and the Hall of Fame series may eventually disappear, and manufacturing resources will shift to Tongde and Gengsheng products. GALAX directly denied these claims in a statement.

Similar rumors have appeared before. In April this year, Tongde explained that concentrating the brand management of GALAXY, KFA2 and Hall of Fame to the group headquarters was an internal reorganization and did not mean withdrawing from the GPU market.

A few days before this round of rumors emerged, GALAX also released the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF Extreme on October 22. At present, the two companies have made it clear that the factory has not been closed; the GPU supply situation and the internal production capacity allocation of the group still need to be treated separately from unconfirmed market rumors.
