Abstract:
SpaceX Super Intelligence (SpaceXSI) announced the launch of a unified subscription service, X Subscription, which integrates the Premium benefits of social platform X, Grok artificial intelligence services and programming tool Cursor into the same payment system. Users can choose from four individual plans on a monthly basis, priced at US$8, US$30, US$100, and US$200 respectively; there are also team plans starting at US$30 per user per month, and enterprise plans that require contacting the sales department for pricing. List price does not include applicable taxes.

The $8 per month Plus plan includes Grok Chat, voice, Imagine image generation and Build functions, Grok API, and Cursor programming services; on X, it provides Premium markup, reduced timeline ads, enhanced creator tools, and advanced data analysis. The $30 Premium plan provides about 4 times the AI usage of Plus on the basis of Plus, and adds Grok Bot, the latest Grok model, faster chat response, AI image and video generation, as well as code hosting, AI code review, cloud proxy and automation functions; X platform benefits also include ad-free most pages, priority usernames and higher reply recommendation weights.
The $100-per-month Super plan includes all Premium features and increases the limit to 15 times that of Plus, while giving priority access to models during peak hours. The $200 per month Ultra plan provides early access to all products and models, as well as 50 times the usage limit of Plus. The Ultra quota shown on the official price page is 50 times; the Engadget report mentioned 20 times, which is inconsistent with the currently public official page.
Each plan uses the AI usage quota pool shared between Grok and Cursor, and the quota is refreshed every week. It should be noted that the subscription does not cover all third-party AI model costs: calling third-party models in Cursor will still be billed separately according to its public API price, and users can set a spending limit. After exceeding the quota included in the subscription, users can purchase additional quota or wait for the quota to be refreshed.
Teams and Enterprise plans also offer centralized billing and management, usage analytics, team privacy settings, chat data retention policies, single sign-on, seat management, spend limits, audit logs and access control, and enterprise customers can choose to customize rate limits, dedicated infrastructure, data residency and volume pricing. For SpaceXSI, putting X social services, Grok AI and Cursor programming tools into the same subscription is intended to build a product portfolio across social, generative AI and software development; however, the actual value of the package still depends on the user's consumption of the shared quota and whether it requires an additional paid third-party model.
