Abstract:
Regarding the Zunjie V800 brake pedal testing instructions released by Zunjie Motors on October 13, the reporter consulted the terminal store and learned that
Car owners who now order cars, including those who have previously ordered cars that have not been delivered and scheduled, will use the new and optimized pedal solution. Car owners who have already picked up the car will receive free upgrades in the future.
On October 13, Zunjie Automobile released the "Zunjie V800 Brake Pedal Inspection Instructions", which showed that on October 11, a nationally recognized third-party testing agency inspected the V800 brake pedal. The results met the requirements of the industry standard QC/T 788-2018, that is, the displacement did not exceed 5mm under the condition of a longitudinal force of 1500N. The test data shows that the average displacement during the 1500N test was 2.61mm, and the maximum permanent deformation was 4.07mm, neither of which exceeded the 5mm limit, and no cracks occurred. Zunjie also conducted stricter inspections and increased the longitudinal force to 3000N, and the pedals still showed no cracks or damage.
The store sales staff said that this was an official test and it complied with safety standards in all aspects. However, he revealed that although the test meets the standards, Zunjie will still upgrade according to the original plan.
The upgrade plan is expected to be confirmed by the end of October and will be launched gradually from November. Users who have already picked up the car can make an appointment to register, and after the plan is confirmed, they can go to the store to upgrade for free.
According to Kuai Technology's previous report, on October 8, Zunjie Automobile issued a statement after the pedal fracture incident, saying that even in non-standard extreme test conditions, it still hopes to provide users with higher safety redundancy, and will further optimize the design of this component and provide free upgrade options to users who have delivered it.
Zunjie said that its braking system has completed the entire process development and verification in accordance with the requirements of national standards GB 21670-2025, GB 7258-2026 and industry standard QC/T 788-2018.
