Just yesterday, renders of the Pixel 9 Pro leaked, showing a more rounded design with flatter sides. Now, the same source has shared another render of the upcoming base model, and we can discover something very interesting in it.
First, the Pixel 9 has three cameras on the back. This is the first time that Google has equipped three cameras on a non-Pro model. The phone is also flat on all sides. There is likely to be a temperature sensor just below the flash. The camera design also has a new look, which looks more in line with modern design genes.
Sources claim that Google has reduced the size of the upcoming Pixel 9. The phone is said to measure 152.8x71.9x8.5mm and have a 6.1-inch display, which is smaller compared to the Pixel 8’s 6.2-inch display. It seems Google has decided to shrink the display not only on the Pro models, but also on the non-Pro models.
Last year, there were rumors that Google might follow in the footsteps of Apple and Samsung and launch a new line of phones with three models, but we weren't sure if that would happen. Considering the phones will be unveiled sometime in October this year, more details can be expected.
