According to the official WeChat account of Energy China, the 120 MW photovoltaic power generation project in Jinchang, Gansu, built by the EPC general contracting company of China Energy Construction Anhui Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., has been connected to the grid at full capacity.According to reports, the project is located in Qingtan, Yongchang River, Jinchang City, Gansu Province. It consists of 32 photovoltaic arrays, covering an area of 177.4 hectares, with a total installed capacity of 120 MW. It is equipped with a 20 MW/40 MWh energy storage system and is connected to an upright 330kV booster station.
Installed 184,600 monocrystalline silicon battery modules with a single capacity of 650Wp. After the project is completed, the average annual power generation will be approximately 165.84 million kilowatt hours., it can save about 54,000 tons of standard coal every year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 113,000 tons.
Since the project started in September 2022, Xinneng Company has coordinated key links such as on-site construction safety management, equipment transportation, component installation and energy storage engineering construction to ensure the smooth realization of the grid connection goal.
The grid connection of the Jinchang 120 MW photovoltaic power generation project will help increase the proportion of renewable energy supply in Jinchang City, and is of great significance to promoting regional energy transformation and desertification ecological restoration.
