Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted a message over the weekend, praising Apple's new smartphone iPhone 15 for its amazing photography, and left a comment under Apple CEO Tim Cook's post saying "I want to buy one." Cook posted on Saturday, sharing some photos taken with the iPhone 15 Pro Max by famous photographers Stephen Wilkes and Reuben Wu.
Cook wrote: "World-renowned photographers Stephen Wilkes and Reuben Wu showed us the boundless creativity of iPhone 15 Pro Max. Their vivid photos show the breathtaking scenery from the summer beauty of Rhode Island to the otherworldly desert of Utah. Thank you for showing me your work."
Musk responded to Cook's post: "The iPhone's pictures and videos are incredibly beautiful."
Later, when Cook shared news about Apple's latest product lineup, including the iPhone 15 series, the first carbon-neutral Apple Watch and the latest AirPods, Musk responded: "I want to buy one!"
Interestingly, Musk had previously posted a post mocking Apple’s iPhone replacement as having nothing new. Earlier this month, an X user posted: "Apple will keep releasing the same iPhone year after year and people still lose their minds." Musk responded: "I'm not sure what the difference is between my current iPhone and the previous version. Is the camera 10% better?"
Some netizens pointed out that Musk suddenly praised the iPhone 15 and said he would buy one, which may be a return favor to Cook, because the latter recently said in an interview that he likes Twitter (now renamed X) and said that Apple would continue to advertise on it.
