On September 26, Hideo Kojima posted a photo with Phil Spencer on Twitter and revealed that the Xbox team visited Kojima Studio today. According to previous news, Phil Spencer’s visit is likely to check the progress of Hideo Kojima’s mysterious Xbox exclusive game. This mysterious Xbox exclusive game was originally confirmed at the Xbox conference in June 2022. Hideo Kojima said that they will use cloud technology to bring a unique interactive experience.

Previously, in an interview with GameWatch, Phil Spencer briefly introduced the latest status of this mysterious game and stated that he planned to visit Kojima Studio in the last week of September. He believed that the project was going well.
Phil Spencer also said that providing Kojima Productions with enough time and freedom to experiment with its novel ideas is crucial to supporting the company in realizing its vision for the game. As such, Microsoft doesn't intend to push Kojima Productions to share more details about the project. Considering Death Stranding was in development for four years, the project is probably far from complete.
