Specifically, Google in the United States ranks first with an R&D investment of 212.574 billion yuan, significantly ahead of the second place META (the parent company of Facebook, 166.054 billion yuan), followed by Microsoft, which is slightly lower than META.

The fourth place was taken by Huawei, with an R&D investment of 149.008 billion yuan, ahead of Apple, Samsung, and even Germany's Volkswagen and the United States Intel.

It is worth noting that before being sanctioned by the United States, Huawei’s mobile phone business was also sold normally around the world. In 2019, Huawei’s total revenue was 858.8 billion yuan.

However, after being sanctioned by the United States in 2019, Huawei's mobile phone business was affected and its revenue also declined. In 2022, Huawei's revenue will be 642.3 billion yuan. The decline in revenue may also affect the investment in R&D resources.
