India has announced the list of four air force pilots shortlisted for the first manned space flight program "Gaganyaan".The goal is to launch three astronauts into an orbit at an altitude of 400 kilometers next year and bring them back three days later. On Tuesday, the four candidate astronauts were officially unveiled and were called "dreamers, adventurers and warriors ready to go into space." The report said that the four of them underwent rigorous physical and psychological tests before being shortlisted and trained in Russia for 13 months.

It is worth mentioning that before sending humans into space,India will try to send robot into space first, planned to be implemented this year, the female humanoid robot in space named "Vyommitra" (Sanskrit, meaning "space friend"), also made a brief public appearance.

Data show that India's first manned space flight plan is named after the Sanskrit "Gaganyaan", which means a spacecraft or vehicle that flies into the sky. The project research and development cost reached 90 billion rupees (approximately RMB 7.816 billion).

If progress goes well, India will become the fourth country in the world to send humans into space. At the same time, India also announced a new space plan.Its goal is to build a space station by 2035 and send astronauts to the moon by 2040.
