October 24, Xinxiang, Henan. A 9-year-old girl stole her grandmother's ID card, played the mobile game "Egg Boy Party", and bought game skins like crazy. In just 2 months, she recharged more than 170,000 yuan, and her bank card was almost wiped out. When my parents transferred money to someone else, they found that there was only more than 200 yuan left on their bank card. They went to the bank to get some cash, only to find that the total expenditure in September and October was 178,070.49 yuan.
Although the amount of each transaction varied, ranging from 198 yuan to 648 yuan, etc., the transaction targets were all Huawei Software Technology Co., Ltd., so I thought I had encountered a scam.
After an investigation by the Public Security Bureau, it turned out that the 9-year-old daughter had deposited the money into the "Egg Boy Party" mobile game.
It is understood that "Egg Boy Party" is a trendy casual competitive game developed by NetEase. Huawei mobile phones have Huawei channel servers for this game, so the payee is Huawei.
My daughter said that the skins in "Egg Boy Party" are very good-looking, and buying new skins is like buying new clothes. Many skins are released every month, and she wants to buy them as soon as they are new.
Currently, parents have applied for a refund from Huawei.
