SAIC Audi A5L Sportback is expected to be released early next year with the blessing of domestic smart driving

The A5LSportback will maintain the coupe body design, equipped with frameless doors and semi-hidden door handles, while the wheelbase and body size will be lengthened to increase rear space.

The interior will continue the design of the global version of the A5.Equipped with E electronic architecture, it is equipped with an 11.9-inch LCD instrument screen, a 14.5-inch central control touch screen, and a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel.

In terms of intelligent driving,A5LSportback will be equipped with an advanced intelligent driving assistance system developed in cooperation with Chinese technology companies, including urban road and highway NOA functions, and function upgrades will be achieved through OTA technology.

In terms of power, the A5LSportback is expected to be equipped with the fifth-generation EA888Evo2.0T engine.

For reference, the new Audi A5 family offers two power options overseas, 2.0T and 3.0TV6.

Competitors of the A5LSportback include the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Cadillac CT5. Its price has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be positioned similarly to the Audi A4L and compete with pure electric mid-size cars such as the Tesla Model 3 and NIO ET5.
