Gigabyte releases a new professional graphics cardRadeonPROW7800AITOP48G, as its name suggests, it has up to 48GB of video memory, which is half more than the previous 32GB version, which can be better used for AI large model training.

In April last year, AMD released the first two professional graphics cards RadeonPROW7900 and W7800 based on the RDNA3 architecture and Navi31 core. The former has 384-bit48GB GDDR6 video memory, and the latter has 256-bit32GB.

The name of Radeon PROW7800 48GB has appeared on AMD's official website, but there is no detailed page. However, Gigabyte released the new card first.

The new card increases the video memory capacity to 48GB, ranking first in the history of AMD graphics cards, of course the video memory bit width has also been opened to 384-bit, but the video memory frequency has not changed and is still 18GHz, so the bandwidth is still 864GB/s.

Gigabyte confirmed,The power consumption of the new card has also increased by 21W to 281W., but it is still 14W lower than RadeonPROW7900.

It also supports four cards in parallel, with a total memory capacity of up to 192GB!

Other aspects are completely unchanged: 4480 stream processors, 70 light tracing units, 140 AI units, FP32 single-precision floating point performance 45.2TFlops, FP16 half-precision floating point unit 90.5TFlops.

The graphics card is 293mm long, dual-slot thickness, single turbo fan, dual 8-pin power supply, three DP2.1 and one miniDP2.1 interface.

From the outside, the only difference is the addition of 48GB.
