Some netizens posted complaints on social media, claiming that someone used his identity information to forge medical records when Fliggy refunded his tickets. The netizen said,I paid 685 yuan for a ticket on Fliggy last year. I was deducted a refund fee of 385 yuan when I canceled the ticket on the platform due to something unexpected.According to the rules, this money should be collected by the airline.
But about a year later, the netizen received a notice from the police saying that he was suspected of forging medical records to defraud the airline into qualifying for a full refund due to illness.
Afterwards, the netizen urgently contacted Fliggy and found out that the incident was caused by a third-party ticketing company and defrauded the airline of 385 yuan in refund fees.
A reporter learned from Fliggy staff that after verification, this problem was caused by the supplier breaking the law and forging certificates in violation of regulations.Fliggy has fined the supplier, removed the supplier in April this year, and terminated all cooperation.
At the same time, Fliggy has refunded the netizen's handling fee loss, compensated for other losses, and cooperated with the police investigation expenses, totaling 8,228.86 yuan, and obtained the netizen's understanding.
Fliggy stated that it will never allow suppliers to engage in any illegal activities such as forging information, private returns and private modifications, etc., and will strictly investigate every case found.
It is understood that if you purchase a ticket on the Fliggy platform and the refund is due to personal reasons, a certain handling fee will be charged. If the refund is due to the airline, you can get a full refund by uploading and submitting proof of abnormal flight. The refund will generally be returned to the original payment channel within seven working days.
