"The Walking Dead: Destiny" is a game work adapted from the popular American TV series, and truly realizes "adaptation is random editing", allowing players to change key plots in the show in the game. In the "Walking Dead" TV series, the protagonist Rick's good friend Sean became moody in the second season. His jealousy of Rick and his obsession with Rick's wife Lori gradually made him spiral out of control. Eventually, Sean decides to murder Rick, but is stabbed in the chest.
But in The Walking Dead: Destiny, the game offers players a different ending. In the game, Sean and Rick duel in a scene filled with weapons, ammo, and... radios. Then Sean shot Rick in the face more than twenty times with a shotgun at close range. At the same time, the two of them moved around to pick up ammunition and healing items, talking trash to each other. There is also a big task prompt on the right side of the screen that says "Kill your friends".
After the two exchanged bullets for a long time, they finally discovered that the other party was immune to ammunition, so they decided to fight hand-to-hand: crowbar versus tomahawk. In the end, Sean used a knife to kill Rick. Like in the TV series, the losers become "walkers" and Sean frees Rick's brain.

Huge changes were also made to the Season 4 finale of The Walking Dead, such as having Carol blow up the Governor's tank with an assault rifle; in one version, Maul became the Governor; Sean led the team to victory in the prison; and Glenn was beheaded by the Governor with Michelle's katana. In short, this game is The Walking Dead's version of "Whatif...".
"The Walking Dead: Destiny" is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and NS platforms, and will be available on the Steam platform on December 1.
