As Tesla's stock price has been falling recently, shareholders are using Musk's own words against him, asking him to name five things he has done for Tesla in the past week. Musk sparked backlash last week when he asked U.S. government employees to list five things they accomplished in a week to justify their paychecks. This was the strategy he initially used to streamline the Twitter team.

However, with Tesla shares falling sharply since the start of the year, investors are now asking Musk on his own social media sites what he has done for them lately.

Tesla investor and American celebrity photographer Jerry Avenaim wrote on X on Wednesday: "Please share five things you did for Tesla shareholders this week." And attached a chart of Tesla stock underperformance, "Or are you working remotely? Ask for all of us."

Tesla shares fell 3.04% on Thursday to close at $281.95, falling for the sixth consecutive trading day.
