Bavarian Linux PC supplier TUXEDO Computers announced this morning the launch of TUXEDOSirius16Gen1, their first full-line Linux gaming laptop equipped with AMD processors. Unlike many gaming laptops that offer AMD Ryzen processors but come with NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics, the TUXEDOSirius16Gen1 aims to be a great Linux gaming laptop.

TUXEDOSirius16Gen1 is equipped with AMD Ryzen77840HS processor and RadeonRX7600MXT independent graphics card.

The RDNA3-based RX7600MXT graphics card has 32 computing units, 2300MHz gaming frequency and up to 120W GPU power consumption, which is enough to meet Linux gaming needs in a mobile form factor. Equipped with 8 Zen4 cores and 16 threads, Ryzen77840HS is a high-performance mobile processor that runs very well under Linux.

Sirius16 is equipped with a 16-inch 1440p display, an all-aluminum body, up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory, WiFi6E and an 80Wh battery. Base pricing for the Sirius 16 Gen 1 with 16GB of memory and 500GB of NVMe storage is €1,699. The product will begin shipping in mid-December, and operating system options include various Ubuntu LTS versions and TUXEDO's customized TUXEDOOS based on UbuntuLinux.
