The life simulation game "inZOI" is about to enter early access, and "The Sims" is a giant in the field. "inZOI" will inevitably be compared to it, and game producer Hyungjun Kim (Hyungjun Kim) said that he often regards the series as a main source of inspiration.

Kim Hyung-jun said in an interview with PCGamesN: "We are just taking the first step along the path paved by The Sims. Just like everyone's life is unique, they each have their own unique meaning and value. I learn something new every time I play The Sims, and often find myself resonating with the decisions made by the development team."

Kim Hyung-jun, a long-time fan of The Sims, mentioned his experience trying to make mods for the game. "I once stayed up late with my son trying to create a mod, but kept running into bugs that made making the mod as challenging as real game development."

So when it came time for inZOI to compete with The Sims, he said: "Honestly, it's a lot of pressure for us. The Sims is an amazing game and I don't think inZOI can compare to it - at least not yet, but as a player, I really support The Sims and look forward to what the future brings for us."

Different from "The Sims", the AI function in "inZOI" is a very unique and controversial feature. Jin Hyungjun hopes to provide players with an easier experience than modifying "The Sims" and ensures that the AI in the game is only trained on data owned by the studio and ethically acceptable. He hopes this can give players significant creative freedom advantages.

Finally, he added: "We will understand which styles, patterns and designs players prefer, and based on feedback from the player community, we may enhance certain AI functions or introduce more official content to supplement players' creativity."

"inZOI (Cloud Ethnic)" will officially launch early access on the Steam platform at 08:00 (Beijing time) on March 28, 2025, priced at 188 yuan, and all DLC will be free during the early access period.
