Mozilla Firefox 137 release binaries are now available ahead of the official launch on Tuesday. The most exciting thing about Firefox 137 for Linux is that it now supports HEVC/H.265 via the Video Acceleration API.

For users using the MesaVAGallium 3D state tracker (such as Radeon graphics cards), Intel VA-API driver, NVIDIA VA-API transcoding, or similar Video Acceleration API implementation, you can now enjoy accelerated H.265/HEVC content using Firefox on Linux.

Firefox 137 also adds support for the text-decoration-lineCSS property to account for misspellings and grammatical errors, new JavaScript APIs, SVG additions, and various other changes.
