Microsoft has begun testing its new aggregated game library in the Xbox PC app for Windows. Xbox Insiders can now view all Steam and Battle.net games in the app, making it a single launcher for most installed PC games.

This new library of integrations will be available later this year in the Xbox app and on new devices like the ROG Xbox Ally console. This is part of Microsoft's effort to make the Xbox app on Windows the home of PC gaming and compete with Steam and SteamOS by integrating Windows and Xbox.

Xbox PC Aggregated Game Library

"When a player installs a game from a supported PC Store, it will automatically appear in My Library in the Xbox PC app, as well as in the Latest Games list in the sidebar—making it easier than ever to get back to your game," explained Manisha Oza, Xbox platform product manager. Support for more PC stores will be rolled out gradually, Microsoft said.

If you want to try out the new aggregated library in the Xbox app for Windows, simply download the Xbox Insider Hub on PC and join the PC Game Preview. You can also manage the visibility of your games by hiding any PC Store in the Library & Extensions section of the Xbox app settings.
