More than a decade after The Social Network's release, director Aaron Sorkin is reportedly working on a sequel, possibly with two leads in mind. The first 2010 film focused on the rise of Mark Zuckerberg, while The Social Network 2 is said to take a page from Jeff Horwitz'sFacebook profile”, which exposed Facebook’s harmful impact on teenagers and its role in spreading misinformation.

Deadline reports that Bears' Jeremy Allen White is in line to star as Horwitz, while Mikey Madison, who won an Oscar for her role in Anora, could play Frances Haugen, the whistleblower behind the articles and a former product manager at Facebook.

Sorkin has reportedly met with both actors, but it's worth noting that the film is still in production and has yet to be greenlit by Sony Pictures.
