In a recent interview, AMD CEO Lisa Su emphasized that a sense of mission may be more important than money when it comes to attracting top artificial intelligence talent. In an exclusive interview, Su Zifeng expressed disapproval of Meta CEO Zuckerberg's approach of attracting AI researchers with high salaries. She made it clear that she would not consider offering billions of dollars in salary to attract potential employees.

Su Zifeng pointed out that although competition for talents is fierce, money is not the only factor in attracting talents. She believes that it is more important to attract those who truly believe in the company's mission.

Su Zifeng said: "It is important to be within the salary range, but more important is to have team members who believe in what we are doing."

Nowadays, technology giants such as Meta and Microsoft have begun to offer high salaries in order to compete for AI talents. The competition has become quite fierce, and some companies have even taken the initiative to contact candidates who have received job offers from other companies.

For example, Yangshun Tay, an AI engineer from Singapore, said that after he posted a job offer at OpenAI on LinkedIn, he almost immediately received an email from Meta asking if he was interested in joining.
