Recently, industry analyst Michael Pachter revealed that EA plans to change the "Battlefield" series to an annual release model similar to "Call of Duty". It is said that Byron Beede, general manager of "Battlefield", told Pachter that EA plans to build a new year product system through rotating development among three studios (each game has a three-year development cycle). Although the plan has been launched, Bede acknowledged that full implementation will still take time. According to its estimates, players will have to wait five to six years before EA can launch a new "Battlefield" game for two consecutive years.
