September 9, 10:00,China used the Long March 7-modified carrier rocket at the Wenchang Space Launch Site to successfully launch the Remote Sensing 45 satellite. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. This launch is the second launch mission completed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation on the same day. The Jielong 3 carrier rocket was successfully launched at 3:48 am.

The Long March 7 modified launch vehicle was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is my country's new generation of medium-sized high-orbit liquid launch vehicle.
This mission is the first time a Changqi rocket has carried out a medium-orbit launch mission. By strengthening the rocket core's third-stage storage tank structure and adjusting the engine starting strategy, the development team successfully increased the orbital carrying capacity from 7 tons to more than 8 tons, significantly enhancing the rocket's mission adaptability.
In addition, by optimizing the final assembly and testing process, the launch preparation period of this type of rocket has been shortened from the original 23 days to 19 days, better meeting the mission requirements of future high-density launches.
The Remote Sensing No. 45 satellite is overall developed by the Eighth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is mainly used to carry out scientific experiments, land and resources census, agricultural product production estimation, disaster prevention and reduction and other fields.
