Although from the perspective of film critics, the film of the same name adapted from Naughty Dog's game "Uncharted" is not perfect, its performance at the box office was enough for Sony to call it a "hit movie series." With such strong hints about the possibility of a sequel, Mark Wahlberg, who plays Sully, "confirmed" the existence of a sequel to the "Uncharted" movie in an interview with foreign media "The Direct" before the official announcement.
"I've heard a lot of different ideas. I know someone wrote a script, and they're still writing it, that includes (Sally) growing a beard all the time. It makes total sense because I (played Sully) had a beard in the last scene (in the first film)."
In addition, Mark Wahlberg also shared that it took him a long time to grow a mustache and that the fake beard made him feel "like there was a big piece of tape covering my mouth, which I thought was ridiculous."
Although the possibility of a second "Uncharted" movie exists, considering that it is still in the script production stage and the first movie was only released last year, the filming of the sequel movie will not start until at least next year.
