At the 2025 New Energy Battery Industry Development Conference held today, Sunwanda launched a new generation of polymer all-solid-state battery "Xin·Bixiao".The battery has an energy density of 400 Wh/kg and a cycle life of 1,200 cycles under ultra-low external pressure of <1MPa.It is significantly longer than the 800-1000 cycles of traditional lithium batteries, taking into account high energy and long life.
Its operating temperature range covers -30°C to 60°C, and it can still maintain more than 80% of its capacity in a low temperature environment of -20°C, significantly improving the endurance performance of electric vehicles in alpine regions.
At the same time, the battery has passed stringent safety verifications such as acupuncture experiments and 200°C hot box tests to solve the risk of thermal runaway of traditional lithium batteries.
Sunwanda expects to build a 0.2GWh polymer solid-state battery cell pilot line by the end of this year. Relevant executives said that the company has also successfully developed and tested a lithium metal super battery laboratory sample with an energy density of 520Wh/kg.
Sunwanda has been in the field of solid-state batteries for a long time and started research and development as early as 2015.And plans for the first-generation 400Wh/kg and second-generation 500Wh/kg all-solid-state batteries.
