According to CCTV News, recently,The AG600, a large-scale amphibious aircraft independently developed by my country, completed its first water-dumping exercise in the wild environment in the Songhua Lake waters of Jilin Province.On the day of the drill, the AG600 aircraft took off from Changbaishan Airport and flew about 190 kilometers to the waters of Songhua Lake and quickly entered operational status.
According to reports, the AG600 aircraft has two typical tasks: water extraction and water injection, and water injection and water injection.

After injecting 12 tons of water at the airport and flying to the destination, the water can be pumped and poured 9 times continuously.The total amount of water input can reach 120 tons, and the rainfall in the area covered by the water investment is heavy rain or above, with an area of more than 40,000 square meters.
At present, all three mass-produced AG600 aircraft have completed production test flights and will be delivered to users within the year.
It is understood that the AG600 is a large-scale special-purpose civil aircraft independently developed by my country to meet the urgent needs of forest fire fighting and water rescue. It is a major aviation equipment urgently needed for the construction of the national emergency rescue system.
The aircraft is equipped with 4 turboprop-6 turboprop engines.The maximum take-off weight is 49 tons, the maximum range is more than 4,500 kilometers, the wingspan is 38.8 meters, the cruising speed is 480 kilometers per hour, and the rescue radius is 864 nautical miles (1,600 kilometers).
It can draw 12 tons of water in 20 seconds, carry 50 people in distress, and has a wave resistance height of 2.0 meters.
