SanDisk WD Blue SN5100 PCIe 4.0 SSD was officially launched in August this year, offering four capacity versions of 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB. The 4TB version is currently on the market, priced at 2,199 yuan.This SSD has been updated in appearance and packaging. It not only introduces the "SanDisk" brand logo, but also marks the words "Powered By SanDisk", presenting a more distinctive SanDisk design element overall.

WD Blue SN5100 adopts M.2 2280 single-sided design, supports PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, is equipped with SanDisk's self-developed main control chip and Kioxia BiCS8 QLC NAND flash memory, and adopts a DRAM-free architecture.

The product also supports nCache 4.0 technology, which enables faster burst writing speeds when multitasking and writing large files.

Although it is still in the category of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, thanks to the integration of new components, SanDisk said that the performance of SN5100 is improved by 30% compared to the previous generation product. Its maximum sequential read speed is 7100MB/s, sequential write speed is 6700MB/s, maximum 4K random read is 1000K IOPS, maximum 4K random write is 1300K IOPS, and durability is up to 1200TBW.
