Today, China Railway officially introduced a miniature high-speed train model that is fully reproduced in full scale and precision. This high-speed railway model includes facilities such as stations, catenaries, bridges, locomotives, and interlocking consoles.This model not only completely reproduces various facilities of the high-speed rail system, but also realizes the functional simulation of traction power supply and part of the signaling system.
The double-circular track layout effectively reduces curves and increases vehicle speed. The station section can even perform train pick-up and departure operations, and cooperates with the driver's console to achieve route management and signal light synchronous display, which is highly close to the operating logic of the real high-speed rail system.
It was built by Yang Zhen, a 2024 graduate of Chizhou College in Anhui Province, and his students. It took three months to build it as a graduation gift for himself.
Today, this model, which can run 1.5 meters per second (5.4 kilometers per hour), has become a "living teaching material" for Chizhou College.Electrical major students can intuitively understand the power supply and signal interlocking mechanism, and non-major students can also understand the basic concepts of train operation.
