Zheng Qiang and Zheng Shulin, villagers of Jiangkou Town, Wulong District, Chongqing, recently accidentally discovered a strange "strange fish" on the bank of Wujiang River. This giant salamander is 1.5 meters long, weighs about 57 pounds, and is reddish-brown in color. It is a rare large wild individual.
After confirming that there were no external injuries on its body and that its vital signs were good, the Jiangkou Town Fish Conservation Team chose a water area with gentle water flow and away from human interference to safely release it into nature.
