Although Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remastered has yet to be released, traces of the project continue to emerge. What attracted attention this time was the official media collection peripherals of the game, which unexpectedly appeared on eBay, a foreign second-hand trading platform.

This set of rare collections, labeled as "Collector's Edition Media Collection Peripherals," was priced at $1,999 by the seller. According to the product description, this type of set is only released to media and Ubisoft partners, and is limited to 110 sets worldwide. The set sold this time is No. 81 and includes a decorative scimitar made of plastic and resin, as well as a wooden display stand. The overall design is like a display trophy, emphasizing its collection properties rather than its function as game props.
Ubisoft has yet to officially comment on the sale of such peripherals, but the presence of these items on the secondary market just shows that the game was actually quite advanced in development before it was ultimately cancelled.
