According to CCTV news reports, today,The ninth domestically produced large aircraft C919 recently received by China Southern Airlines has officially been put into operation, and the first flight will be on the Guangzhou-Xi'an route.Up to now, China Southern Airlines has a total of 9 C919 aircraft in service.
According to reports, the aircraft plans to fly two round-trips per day on the Changsha-Beijing Daxing route during the Spring Festival travel period. The specific times are as follows:
CZ3717/CZ3718, departs from Changsha Huanghua Airport at 9:30, arrives at Beijing Daxing Airport at 12:00, departs from Beijing Daxing Airport at 13:10, and arrives at Changsha Huanghua Airport at 16:00;
CZ3147/CZ6137, departs from Changsha Huanghua Airport at 17:30, arrives at Beijing Daxing Airport at 20:00, departs from Beijing Daxing Airport at 21:30, and arrives at Changsha Huanghua Airport at 00:10 the next day.
Since the Spring Festival travel season kicked off on February 2, China Southern Airlines has continued to increase its capacity investment in domestically produced aircraft. C919 and C909 aircraft have performed nearly 1,400 flights, a year-on-year increase of 49.1% during the Spring Festival travel period in 2025, and carried more than 123,000 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 60.3%.
Among them, China Southern Airlines' C919 aircraft has carried out 275 flights, carrying more than 38,000 passengers, and the passenger load factor reached 86.3%.
