On December 19, Xiaomi Group issued a statement regarding malicious leaks and rumors related to Xiaomi cars, involving employees of the media "ZAKER" and "Xiaobai Buying Cars" and three former employees of the automobile department. Media "ZAKER" employee Bao Moumou and "Xiaobai Buying Car" employee Guan Moumou intentionally leaked confidential filming content without permission. Xiaomi will hold the two people and their affiliated media responsible for the leakage, including but not limited to public apology and fines.
In addition, Xiaomi also revealed that in November and December 2023, three former employees of Xiaomi Automobile Department participated in the so-called "Xiaomi Automobile Seminar" organized by external securities firms and investment institutions without permission for the purpose of collecting "consulting fees" during their employment. They fabricated and spread a large amount of wrong and false information, seriously misleading the market and disrupting Xiaomi Automobile's normal business.
