According to official plans, the new car will officially meet the public on March 18.In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive electric drive technology and comes standard with an 800V architecture. The 50 xDrive version launched earlier adopts a dual-motor four-wheel drive layout, with a combined power of approximately 469 horsepower and a tested cruising range of more than 644km.
Previously, the pre-production version of the new BMW i3 rolled off the assembly line at the Munich factory in early February.

The car is planned to be launched overseas first, and will be delivered in the third and fourth quarters. It will also launch 35 and 40 series rear-drive entry-level versions, as well as M performance series models.
As the first sedan of BMW's new generation, the new car continues the family's latest design language.
The illuminated fully enclosed kidney grille, segmented daytime running lights, and the raised ribs of the hood make the front face very dynamic.

The side of the car has a clear swooping attitude and is equipped with 19-inch aerodynamic wheels; the rear uses through-type 3D taillights and a diffuser rear surround, echoing the front design.
In terms of environmental protection, the new car is made of a large number of recycled materials, of which 80% is recycled aluminum in the wheels and steering knuckles.
The interior style is simple and modern, highly similar to the new iX3. It is equipped with a new style steering wheel and a unique central control screen, and is also equipped with an "eye-level panoramic display" system.
At the same time, the new car will also be equipped with the "Heart of Joy" core control system. The response speed is 10 times higher than that of the previous generation, enabling millisecond-level precise control.
