Hermès recently launched the luxury accessories Paddock Duo charger and Grand Paddock protective case in its 2026 spring series, which are based on Apple's MagSafe dual charger. The entire product is carefully wrapped in Hermès's iconic "golden Swift calfskin", which is delicate to the touch and highly recognizable. It can charge iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time.
In terms of pricing, this luxury charging set is priced at US$5,150, or approximately RMB 35,479.
For comparison, Apple's MagSafe dual charger is priced at US$129 and Bank of China's is priced at 1,049 yuan. However, it will be discontinued in 2023. This luxury set is about 40 times more expensive.
It is worth noting that this is despite users paying a hefty fee of over $5,000.
However, this charging device does not come standard with the 20W USB-C power adapter required for normal use, and consumers must purchase it separately.
