Samsung's upcoming new foldable screen phone Galaxy Z Flip8 has been exposed in advance through a set of CAD-based renderings, which fully demonstrates the new phone's appearance design from multiple angles. Like the Galaxy Z Fold8 whose design was leaked last month, Flip8 is also converted from external design drawings this time, which is more credible.

In terms of size, the Galaxy Z Flip8 measures 166.8 × 75.4 × 6.6 mm in the unfolded state and 85.4 × 75.4 × 13.2 mm in the folded state. Compared with last year's Galaxy Z Flip7, the new phone is only slightly longer, wider, and thicker when unfolded, which is so small that it is almost imperceptible in daily use; however, the thickness of the phone is reduced by about 0.5 mm in the folded state, and it will be slightly slimmer after folding.

In terms of screen, it is reported that Galaxy Z Flip8 will continue to use the same dual-screen specifications as the previous generation: the inner screen is a 6.9-inch folding display, and the external secondary screen is a 4.1-inch cover screen. Judging from the current renderings and size information, there are almost no visible differences in appearance and screen layout between the old and new generations. This also means that the main upgrades of this product iteration are likely to focus on the internal hardware configuration and overall experience, rather than a major appearance change.

According to the exposure information, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to be unveiled together with the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the previously rumored "Wide Fold" new product. The release time is likely to be Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked conference. If the rhythm of previous years continues, the event is expected to be held in July this year.
