"Sprawl: Smudge Squad" has officially confirmed its release date. Nintendo announced that the game will be released on July 23, 2026, and will be an exclusive work for Nintendo Switch 2.

The project was first unveiled last summer along with an update for Spratia 3, but no release date was announced at the time. Now, Nintendo not only confirmed the release date, but also showed off a new trailer that showcases the core features of the game. Unlike previous games in the series, Spratly: Smudge Squad focuses on single-player play. The player will play a mechanic and embark on a journey to explore the mysterious archipelago with the musical trio "Surmi Gang".
During the adventure, players can customize their character's appearance, use various gadgets, and wield the iconic "ink" weapon. The main enemy is the extremely aggressive creature "Salmon", which the player will fight during the treasure hunt.
