"GTA5" source code leaked, including "GTA6" script files

According to foreign media GTAFocal, the source code of "GTA5" has been leaked on Discord. The total file size is about 4GB, including a large number of files, concepts and reference images from the RAGE engine, such as the early map of San Andreas in "GTA5". Surprisingly, the file even includes unreleased Python script files for "GTA 6" and files for "Bully 2", but this part currently seems small and may not be of any importance.

These source codes are not brand new. They originated from the leak of "GTA 6" in 2022. At that time, hackers also obtained the source code of "GTA 5" and have since been seeking to sell these source codes.

Game source code is a low-level instruction set written in a programming language and is the basis of the game. It contains the logic, algorithms, and functions that define game operations. For these reasons, source code must be kept strictly confidential to protect intellectual property and prevent unauthorized copying or modification of the game.
