Recently, some users have reported that when they click on two pictures at the same time, WeChat will crash or force quit.In response, Tencent customer service responded that the problem is caused by memory pressure caused by loading a large number of images at the same time, and users can alleviate it by clearing the cache and updating the version.

Digital blogger "I am Brother Er" posted a video saying that if you double-click two photos in the WeChat dialog box and then click on the pop-up photo, WeChat will immediately crash.

The next day, related topics were on the hot search list, and a large number of users reported that they had been tricked.

Tencent customer service explained that this phenomenon stems from the fact that loading multiple images in a short period of time takes up too much memory. It is a logical problem at the adaptation level and is not a design flaw.

Actual testing shows that this vulnerability almost only affects Android devices.

Many models such as Xiaomi and OnePlus have crashed again, but the iOS system is not affected. Some users of Huawei Hongmeng 6.1 version also said that they did not encounter problems.

According to analysis by industry insiders, Android does not make a good judgment on image level blocking, which triggers the program to crash during the second operation; iOS does not support opening dual images at the same time, so it naturally avoids risks.

In response to this problem, Tencent customer service gave four solutions: regularly clear the mobile phone cache, ensure that WeChat is the latest version, switch to a stable network, log out of the account, restart the phone and then log in again.

At the same time, users are reminded to avoid double-clicking pictures too quickly, and the WeChat team will continue to optimize system adaptability.
