As Samsung prepares for the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event that will be held on January 17, the company is also working with multiple service center partners around the world and may provide them with various parts to help them fulfill customer warranties should any part of the Galaxy S24 malfunction. A repair center in Slovenia has shared some high-resolution images of the USB-C port on the Korean giant's upcoming flagship, along with an easily visible SIM card tray.

Mobistekla shared these spare parts and provided GSMArena with enlarged images of individual parts of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Not pictured here include some flex and ribbon cables for the power and volume buttons, but the more interesting picture is the USB-C port that appears on the PCB.

These spare parts indicate that Samsung will use different components for each of the three Galaxy S24 models, which will facilitate Samsung’s supply chain and third-party repairers. We also see a red rubber pad covering the USB-C port, which is used to prevent water from seeping inside and ruining expensive flagship products.

There's also a SIM card tray next to the USB-C port, which means the Galaxy S24 won't support eSIM, although there may be a secondary option somewhere on the circuit board.

There are two connectors on the back of the board, which are undoubtedly responsible for connecting to the rest of the board. Overall, there's nothing noteworthy about these components.
