It is not limited to the ECS server series and is mainly targeted at enterprises going overseas to India. These enterprises provide faster access speeds to Indian users through the Alibaba Cloud Mumbai data center.

Reason: Based on the need to update global infrastructure planning, Alibaba Cloud will shut down its data center in India.
Time point 1: All public cloud products in the affected areas will stop new purchases at 24:00 on March 31, 2024 (UTC+05:30, Mumbai time, the same below).
Time point 2: All public cloud products in the affected regions will stop services after 24:00 on July 15, 2024.
Time point 3: Affected users can contact their account manager or confirm the migration through a work order before January 31, 2024.
Migration destination: Migrate from Mumbai data center (ap-south-1) to Singapore data center (ap-southeast-1). The migration attribute is cross-region.
Judging from Alibaba Cloud's notice, this migration work should be provided free of charge. As long as the customer confirms that they are willing to migrate, Alibaba Cloud will help the customer perform automated migration to avoid queuing migration failures in later time-sensitive tasks that may affect business continuity.
