VinFast Auto (VFS.US), known as the "Tesla of Vietnam", announced the launch of the DrgnFly electric bicycle in the United States at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on Wednesday. According to the company, the VinFast Drgnfly is expected to start at $2,800 and comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. Drgnfly e-bikes are expected to debut in other global markets in the near future.
As part of the overall plan, VinFast said DrgnFly is the next expansion of the company’s comprehensive e-mobility ecosystem.
Earlier, VinFast also released an electric pickup truck prototype VFWild at the CES show. The company said the vehicle is a mid-size pickup truck, but did not reveal a timetable for its launch or its expected range.
In addition, the company said that its four-seater small electric SUV model VF3 will be sold globally, initially only for the Vietnamese market, and the first batch of vehicles will be delivered in Vietnam in the third quarter.
