Wind data shows that as of October 10, the closing price of 5,500 kcal thermal coal (produced in Shanxi) at Qinhuangdao Port was reported at 1,003 yuan/ton, a year-on-year increase of 42.27%, breaking through the thousand yuan mark, setting a new high in the past two years. On the same day, CCTD Bohai Rim thermal coal spot reference price for 5500K specification product closed at 999 yuan/ton, an increase of 5 yuan/ton from the previous month, and was only one step away from the thousand-yuan mark.
