[Rapidus and HCLTech announce the launch of R&D centers in India] On October 27, HCLTech and Rapidus Corporation, a Japanese advanced logic semiconductor R&D and manufacturing company, officially launched two HCLTech R&D centers in India. The two R&D centers, located in Bangalore and Hubli respectively, will provide Rapidus with a series of semiconductor engineering services covering mask design, design infrastructure, process design kit development, design technology co-optimization and layout design. HCLTech will also work with Rapidus to establish an Indian engineering talent pipeline to meet Rapidus's changing talent needs in Japan.
