[Ministry of Ecology and Environment: Mild pollution may occur locally in the first half of November and moderate pollution may occur in central and southern Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei] On October 31, the China Environmental Monitoring Station, in conjunction with the Central Meteorological Observatory, the Joint Center for Atmospheric Pollution Prevention and Control, the Northeast, South China, Southwest, Northwest, Yangtze River Delta Regional Air Quality Forecasting Center and the Beijing Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, launched a national air quality forecast consultation in the first half of November (November 1-15). In the first half of November, diffusion conditions are good in most areas across the country, and the air quality is mainly excellent. Mild pollution may occur locally, and moderate pollution may occur in central and southern Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Affected by sand and dust weather, some cities in Xinjiang may experience moderate or above PM10 pollution.
