[The Operations Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission organizes arrangements to increase the scale of Xinjiang’s coal export] September 7th, the National Development and Reform Commission’s Operations Bureau recently organized the Development and Reform Commission of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China Railway Group, and the Urumqi Railway Bureau to hold a special meeting to analyze the Xinjiang coal export situation and make arrangements to stabilize Xinjiang’s coal output, strengthen transportation capacity guarantee, and increase the scale of Xinjiang’s coal export. In the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will strengthen overall planning and coordination, promptly study and solve outstanding problems in the external transportation of Xinjiang coal, and give full play to the role of Xinjiang coal in ensuring the national coal supply.
