Abstract:
Technology giant Apple officially announced today that it will set up a new education center in Vietnam, aiming to support the skills development of local students, educators and communities through advanced technological resources and education projects. This move marks a new step in Apple’s supply chain and talent cultivation strategy in Southeast Asia.
It is understood that the newly established education center will introduce Apple's widely recognized programming and creativity courses, including Swift for beginners and advanced developers. Programming language training and various digital skills improvement projects. The center will be equipped with the latest Apple hardware and software tools to provide an immersive learning and practice environment for local students. In addition, Apple will also carry out in-depth cooperation with local educational institutions, non-profit organizations and community colleges in Vietnam, and regularly hold workshops, teacher training seminars and technical exchange activities to fully empower the local education ecosystem.
Apple emphasized in its official statement that education has always been one of the core pillars of the company’s corporate culture and social responsibility. In recent years, as Vietnam has played an increasingly important role in the global electronics manufacturing and technology supply chain, Apple has not only continued to expand its local production and supply chain layout, but is also committed to giving back to the local community. Through this new education center, Apple hopes to break the digital divide, create opportunities for more Vietnamese young people to be exposed to cutting-edge technology, and help them master the key skills needed to adapt to the future digital economy.
Industry analysts pointed out that Apple’s move will not only help improve the overall reserve of local technical talents in Vietnam, but will also further consolidate its long-term cooperative relationship with local governments and communities, laying a more solid foundation for its sustainable development in the Southeast Asian market.
