Deng Weizheng said at an event at Hong Kong Fintech Week that Binance's hourly capital inflows and outflows have "basically returned to normal" and 95% of the affected tokens have been replenished.

Binance said earlier that as of Monday, net customer withdrawals had reached $4.72 billion after the exchange suffered what may be the largest financial theft in history last week.

Last Sunday, Binance resumed its withdrawal service. It initially experienced a wave of withdrawal peaks, but then returned to stability. Deng Weizheng previously said that the intrusion was a "sophisticated attack" involving a compromised laptop and malware specifically designed to delete traces of its own activities, which increased the difficulty of tracing the source of the attack and conducting investigations.
