Abstract:
Cdiscount, one of the largest retailers in France, is suspected of accidentally putting on the shelves a variety of products related to the Nintendo Switch 2 platform "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", covering themed limited consoles, Pro Controller 2 handles, Joy-Con 2 sets and two versions of the game itself.
The product pages are marked with product names and SKU codes: the SKU of the Switch2 theme console is NINSW2ZELDAOOT, and the product description is "Zelda: Ocarina of Time" limited edition; the SKU of the other Switch Pro Controller 2 controller is NINSW2MANPROOOT, which also has a Zelda theme logo.
Cdiscount also lists a Switch2 Joy-Con controller set with the SKU code NINNS2JOYCONOOT. In addition to hardware products, two game products have also appeared on the platform: the Switch 2 version of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" (SKU: NINNS2ZELDAOOOT), and the collector's edition (SKU: NINNS2ZELDAOOTEC).
It is no secret that Nintendo plans to launch a variety of Switch 2 limited edition consoles and supporting accessories. Appearance pictures of the relevant hardware have been leaked online, and it is only a matter of time before it is officially announced.
"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered" is planned to be launched on the Switch2 platform in 2026. Recent rumors indicate that Monolith Soft may be involved in the development of this game together with other developers.
